Goo Gone works well for so many things around the house and removing stickers from glass, windows or windshields is one of them. Simply saturate the sticker and gently scrape off with a razor blade – then you can use a little bit more of the Goo Gone to get rid of any adhesive reside left behind.
Aiming a hair dryer at the sticker will help to melt the adhesive underneath. Then you can use a single edge razor blade to peal it off. Be careful not to scratch glass.
Nail Polish Remover
Nail polish remover can also help remove stickers from car windows or windshields. Saturate the sticker by using one or two cotton balls that have been soaked with the nail polish remover. Give it a few minutes to dissolve the adhesive underneath, then scrape the sticker off with a single edge razor blade.
Another way to remove stickers from a windshield or window is to cover it liberally with olive oil. After giving it a few minutes to soak in – gently remove the sticker with a single edge razor blade.
Spray the sticker liberally with Windex until it is saturated. Give it a minute or two then gently use a single edge razor blade to remove the sticker. Be careful not to scratch glass. To remove the adhesive residue left behind, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will do, a product such as Goo Gone or you can try alcohol.
