This is probably the first remedy you should try to get rid of oil stains from clothing because it will absorb as much oil from the stain as possible. Liberally cover the oil stain with baking soda and rub it in gently with your fingers. Let the baking powder sit for approximately ½ hour then gently brush it clean. Launder as usual.
Club Soda works wonders for removing all kinds of stains and it also works for removing oil stains from clothing. Saturate the stain with Club Soda – let it sit for a few minutes – then blot as much as you can. Launder as usual afterwards.
Dishwashing liquid is known for being a powerful degreaser. Rub a few drops of dishwashing liquid onto the oil stain, rub it in gently, let it sit for a few minutes then rinse out or launder as usual.
Believe it or not this delicious treat works great for removing oil stains. Simply smear some cheese wiz into the stain and throw in the washer.
Baby Powder is also great for absorbing oil on clothes. Rub some baby powder into the stain and then brush clean. Wash as usual.

Hair Spray is also known to take out oil or grease stains. Simply spray stain with a decent amount of hair spray then toss in the wash and launder as usual.
This cleaning tip is perfect for gentler clothing items. Simply rub a few drops of Baby Shampoo into the stain, then soak in some warm water for a few minutes. Afterwards, launder as usual.
Corn starch works similar to the Baking Powder remedy mentioned above. It works really well for absorbing the oil in the stain. Simply sprinkle an ample amount of Corn Starch on the stain, rub it in gently and then let i t sit for about ½ hour. Then gently brush the corn starch off and wash item as usual.
Strangely enough, white bread will absorb oil as well. Simply rub the stain with some white bread or heavily blot to get stain out.
